Creative Thinking

"There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns."

Edward de Bono

There is a strong need to embrace and encourage a child’s creativity. Children are naturally creative and when given a chance to experiment and explore they can create and learn simultaneously. To help foster this skill, our program encourages students to imagine, invent, innovate and attempt problem solving. We employ effective techniques at all levels of learning so that the kids can recognize their creative side that was already within them.

With the Creative Thinking aspect, ileap aims to focus on the process of learning. Children are not only taught about new things but also encouraged to come up with innovative ideas or creations. For instance, they are taught about inventions and also motivated to generate their own inventions.

ileap offers creative writing sessions to the students so that they are encouraged to think outside the box and write their own unique stories. With each activity, we aim to offer them opportunities to connect learning with their knowledge/experience.

They are given a platform to generate new ideas and make use of their thinking skills to consider new possibilities and outcomes. We also help them reflect on their creative side so that they are able to connect between learning and innovating. Brainstorming sessions, group and individual projects further help students become independent and effective learners.
