ileap's Visual Arts program has been designed to initiate love for art. Students and adults are given opportunities to dabble with a wide variety of colors, textures, and materials. The main aim of this program is to expand creativity and develop an understanding of elements of art.
Sessions introduce students to artists and art forms from all over the world. Painting, printmaking, sculpture, recycled art, clay, mosaic, canvas are some of the areas covered in the program.

Grade/Level Wise Batches: Students are placed in batches as per age
Age Group: 3 years – 16 years/16 years and above
Course Content (Course is progressive and continuous and is designed as per age-specific skills)
- Elements of Art: line, shape form, space, value, colour, and texture
- Colour theory and schemes.
- Principles: balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, rhythm.
- Unity or harmony, repetition or pattern, and movement.
- Drawing: elements and principles of design, tools of drawing, geometric forms. Perspective and space through overlapping and size change, shading techniques, and composition.
- Media: pencil, oil pastels, ink, charcoal, soft pastels, water color, acrylic, oil paints, etc.
- Pencil drawing techniques: vertical hatching and cross-hatching, inclined hatching, radial hatching, contour, and gestural drawing, blind contour line drawing, feathering, loops, dots, dotted, zig-zag lines, interwoven textures, basketweave patterns, wavy lines, scribbling.
- Painting techniques: impasto, knife, dry brush, wash, stippling, splattering, dabbing, detailing, wet on wet, dripping, splatter, dabbing, blending, fingertips, cotton buds, multi-coloured strokes.
- Soft Pastel: light pressure blending, heavy pressure blending layering, colour mixing
- Oil Pastels: light pressure blending, heavy pressure blending, scumbling, colour mixing, stippling, sgraffito
